The spine plays a crucial role in all movements that the body creates on a day-to-day basis, and back pain is unfortunately a common issue amongst society. . Whether you are commuting back and forth, lifting heavy boxes (or children!), or even sitting at your desk, you may at some point feel some discomfort in your spine.
This flow will help liberate the spine through it’s 6 degrees of freedom. Postures for the legs and hips will be practiced incorporating specific movements for the spine, with the aim of increasing mobility and flexibility in your spine and legs.
All forms of yoga can help strengthen the back. Yin Yoga can help reestablish the normal range of motion of the lumbar ligaments which could help reduce or relieve discomfort in the spine.
Who should do this course:
This course is open to everyone, absolute beginners and experienced yogi’s are welcome. Pregnant woman are also welcome, we can adjust any poses that don’t feel comfortable.
